Christe Pits, 1923.
For those of you who know Toronto, Christie Pits is a pretty familiar place. I was searching for local places to skate after finally purchasing a pair of skates that fit me and want to commit more winter time doing outdoor activities. I’m always in awe and glad when historical images such as these show up on the internet. These days people are quite unfamiliar with the concept of visiting archives, the internet might just hold the last traces of archival images before who knows what may happen to physical archives.
